Luke Benedict Savoie

Dr. Luke Benedict Savoie departed this life on May 9th at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. Dr. Luke was a native of Belle Rose, LA and a resident of Zachary, LA. He was a clinical Psychologist, having practiced in Mississippi and Louisiana. He is survived by his son, Zachary, and his son’s mother, Teresa Sharp Savoie; his father and mother, Judge Felix Savoie, Jr and Coralie; five brothers; Dr. Felix “Buddy” Savoie and wife, Amy; Dr. Robert Savoie and wife Lori; Dr. Michael Savoie and wife Rena Hardeman; Thomas Savoie and wife Paula; and Matthew Savoie and wife Jennifer; and by his special friend, Aimee Cook. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and grand- nephews. He was preceded in death by his younger sister, Melissa Margaret Mary Savoie. Service will be Thursday, May 13 at 2 pm at Lady of Mercy Church, conducted by Father Cleo Milano and Father Frank Uter. Burial will be in the church Columbarium.
