Lula Arlena"Lena"Machost Miller

Born October 28, 1913 in Pineville, LA and passed away March 25, 2013 at Hospice of Baton Rouge at age 99. She was a retired Accounting Officer with Louisiana National Bank after 32 years service. Visiting at Dunham Chapel of First Presbyterian Church, 763 North Boulevard, Thursday, March 28, 2013 after 8:30 am until religious services at 10 am conducted by Dr. Dick Gates. Interment will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived nieces, Susan Machost Vaccaro and husband Sam G. Vaccaro, and their children, Tiffiny V. Batey, Casey Vaccaro and Corey Vaccaro; Edie Machost, and her children, Danielle Darmody, Tanya Frye, Dustin Machost, Jordan Machost and Dylan Blount; Carolyn Machost Simmons and husband Dean Simmons, and her children, Joe Herrick and Reece Herrick; Jennifer Machost Montgomery and husband Mark Montgomery, and their children, Christian Montgomery and Cameron Montgomery; nephews, Kyle Wright and Robert Wright; step-son, Robert Dale Miller, and his children, Kimberly M. Austin and Angela M. Craig, and his grandchildren, Gabrielle Austin and William and Joshua Craig. Preceded in death by her husband Upton Harold Miller; brothers, Charles William Machost, Jr. and Joseph Henry Machost; a sister, Winifred Elizabeth Machost Wright; and her parents, Lula Penny Machost and Charles William Machost, Sr. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Eunice Chapter #14, Order of The Eastern Star, where she served as a Worthy Matron, and the Honor Club and Order of The Eastern Star where she also served as Worthy Matron.
