Madalyn Montegudo

"Madalyn Montegudo, age 75, died at her residence on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 of chronic kidney disease. She was born on June 15, 1943 and quickly followed a lifelong passion for dance. She co-owned 2M's School of Dance for almost 50 years with her sister, Marianne, and it was here that she found joy in instructing many in the art of classical ballet and choreographing Broadway-style performances. Thereafter, she turned to her second passion "“ her dogs. She relentlessly trained and showed her dogs in obedience matches. She showed her yorkie, Madalyn's Miss Priss, to receive her Obedience Trial Champion (OTCH) and later showed her papillons. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Marianne and Henry Hebert; nieces, Michelle Marino (Chip) and Trisha Benoit (Jared); nephew, Ryan Hebert (Kendall); and four great nephews and a great niece. Madalyn is preceded in death by her parents, Rosemary and Robert Montegudo; as well as her baby brother. A visitation will take place at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 until the recitation of the rosary at 9:30 a.m. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. followed by a private graveside service.
