A native of El Salvador and a resident of Baton Rouge, he passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at 12:45pm at his home. He was 74 and was an auto technician. Memorial service will be on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Jefferson Baptist Church at 1pm. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dilma Valdes; his daughters: Norma Palma, Evelyn Palma Valdes, and Vanessa Blount and her husband Alan; and his son Manuel Palma. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren: Antonio and Ariana Blount, and Ayden Valdes.
