

Margaret Ragusa Landry,loving wife, Mother, grand-mother and great-grand-mother, was born in Alexan-dria LA, December 14,1933 andpassed away June 27, 2015 atButterfly Wing Hospice. As ayoung child in Alexandria dur-ing WWII she sold many warbonds. She later lived in NewOrleans and in Lake Charles.She was a graduate of LakeCharles High and attendedMcNeese College where sheintroduced Alpha Delta Pi So-rority to the college scene. Shebegan her career with BellTelephone Companies first asan operator and retired in 1981as a supervising Engineer. Shewas active in Telephone Pio-neers of America, especially inSpecial Olympics programs.She was named Pioneer Part-ner of the Year and later Loui-siana Pioneer of the Year. Shewas also involved in the TaraCivic Association serving aspresident for several years.She was a member of the TaraGarden Club and TelebellesClub. She is survived by herloving husband of 36 yearsWindom Landry, also survivingare her children John Daugh-erty, Aaron Daugherty Sr., Dei-dre Boyd, and Tamara Allen(Doug). Also, brothers, BreezieRagusa Jr. (Carol) of BreauxBridge and Doug Ragusa oflake Charles. Surviving aregrandchildren David Boyd ofBaton Rouge, Chris Boyd ofDenver Colorado, Chad Daugh-erty and Sarah Daugherty,Michael Allen and Kevin Allen.She is survived by severalgreat-grandchildren, nieces,nephews, cousins and sistersin law Joy Ragusa and DremaSigler. She was pre-deceasedby her parents Breezie RagusaSr. and Ruby Aaron Ragusa,brother Tom Ragusa, grand-son Aaron Daugherty Jr. andson-in-law Rickey Boyd. Visi-tation will be at BroadmoorUnited Methodist Church,Mollylee Drive, from 9 am un-til services at 11 am on Tues-day, June 30, 2015. Burial willbe at Greenoaks Mausoleum.In lieu of flowers, donationscan be made in her memory toBroadmoor Methodist YouthMinistries or the MethodistChildren's Home in Ruston LA.
