Marie went home to be with Jesus, her blessed Savior, on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at her residence in Baton Rouge. She was a member of the Family Worship Center for many years. After retiring as an accountant for the Louisiana Department of Treasury, Marie enjoyed spending time fishing and praying for others. Marie is survived by two close friends, Juanita Payne and Clara Lewis, who have both given much time and commitment to her care during her time of illness. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, John B. Ferrara; parents, Rufus Stanley Trigg Sr. and Lula Robertson; and brother, Rufus Stanley Trigg Jr. Marie would like to thank the many people of Baton Rouge and the employees of the State Capitol and Department of Environmental Quality buildings and the Louisiana Museum for their loving care and concern given to her. Graveside service at Roselawn Cemetery, 4045 North St., at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11.
