Mark Franklin Bear

Mark Franklin Bear, 61, born on 8/27/1960 in Phillipsburg, NJ, a native of Bethlehem,PA, passed away suddenly on December 14, 2021 from complications of Lupus, in Baton Rouge, LA. Mark was predeceased by his parents Franklin E. and Marilyn V. Bear, and his brother Scott J., all from Bethlehem, PA. He is survived by his wife, Susan, of 37 years who resides in Baton Rouge, LA. Mark was an ordained and licensed Baptist Minister, who Pastored in Alabama and Georgia. He was a “car guy,” a Political Writer/Analyst and Journalist, and loved his Schnauzers. There will be visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St. Baton Rouge, LA, on Thursday, December 23, 2021, from 4-6 pm and a short memorial service at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lupus Foundation of America are requested.
