
A resident of Baton Rouge, she died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at St. James Place. She was 90, born in Macon, Ga., Sept. 6, 1919. The memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, at University Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. George Haile. Graveside service at Riverside Cemetery in Macon at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7. Survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Anne Kimbrough Small Lasch and John A Lasch, and Ruth E. Small Grant and L. Hunter Grant; a son and daughter-in-law, A. Bailey Small Jr. and Lydia Kosarcyz Small; eight grandchildren, Deborah L. Lasch, John A. Lasch and wife Lora Boyd Lasch, Elizabeth A. Lasch Simms and husband Robert E. Simms, Sean A. Lasch and wife Patricia Kirk Lasch, Stacie L Small Perkins and husband Scott Perkins, Shannon P. Small, Hunter S. Grant and Kimbrough B. Grant; and 10 great-grandchildren, Jordan L. Duquette, Jacob A. Leiker, Bailey E. Lasch, Elizabeth A. Lasch, Brandon H. Lasch, Hayley E. Simms, Oliver R. Simms, Alena A. Simms, Tyler S. Perkins and Ryann E. Perkins. Preceded in death by husband, Augustus Bailey Small; parents, John G. Harrison and Ruth B. Harrison; and brothers, John G. Harrison Jr. and William H. Harrison. She was a member of University Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, a member/past president of the Audubon Society and the LSU Arboretum, an active alumna of Mercer University in Macon, a teacher and a gifted artist.
