

Mary Frances Payne Cobb "Millie", a resident of Central, died Friday, September 04, 2015, in Baton Rouge. She was 82, born October 25, 1932, in Liberty, MS. She was a beautician, taught beauty school and was a switchboard operator until she retired. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Sunday, September 6, 2015, from 5 PM to 9 PM. Visiting resumes at the funeral home Monday, September 7, 2015, at 11 AM until funeral services at 2 PM. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her daughter Lisa Cobb Haire of Central, and a son, Alan P. Kinabrew; step-daughter, Linda Toler and husband Tim of Baton Rouge; step-son, Clint C. Cobb and wife, JoAnn of Central; brother, Robert C. Payne of Liberty, MS; granddaughters, Jennifer Beeson of Baton Rouge, and Misty Kinabrew of Prairieville; grandsons, Geoffrey Haire of Baton Rouge, Shawn Kinabrew and Joel Kinabrew of Pride, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Carlos Cobb, her parents, Vincie Lee Payne and Evelyn Wilkinson Payne; sisters, Gloria Byrd and Ruby Keller; brothers, Paul Payne and Norman Payne "Payne". Pallbearers will be grandson, Geoffrey Haire, step-grandson, Darin Shaw; nephew, Dale Byrd and great-nephews, Chantz Byrd, Jeff Byrd and Donnie Byrd. The family would like to thank doctors and staff at Lane Memorial and Promise Specialty Hospital within Ochsner for their care and compassion during this difficult journey.
