She was a homemaker and business owner of Adams Repair Works. She died at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at her home in Central. She was 91 and a native of Beckley, W.Va. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Friday, Nov. 27, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation on Saturday at the funeral home chapel from 10 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Glen Miers and the Rev. Dr. David Womack. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by daughters, Maureen Skipper and husband James, and Claudia Griffith; son, John C. Kelley Sr. and wife Sandy; sisters-in-law, Mary Donahue, of Chamblee, Ga., and Shirley Kelley; grandchildren, John Kelley Jr. and wife Vickie, Chris Kelley and wife Tessie, Debria Carline, Kelley Kay Skipper and Jeffry Griffith; great-grandchildren, Nikkie Barbre and husband Mark, Curt Kelley, Trent Kelley and Taylor Kelley; nieces (who are sisters), Linda, Sue, Gail and Sharon; special cousins, Dolly Vira, Lorna Philips and Sherry Williams; and special sisters in Christ, Jody Mae Crawford's Sunday School class of Zoar Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Claude Lewis Kelley; sister, Nellie Hinson; parents, Sam Oliver and Mary Estelle Angus Oliver; and grandsons, "Skeebo" Skipper and Claude Ray Skipper. Pallbearers will be John Kelley Jr., Chris Kelley, Jeffry Griffith, Curt Kelley, Trent Kelley and Burton Conner. Mary graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, Beckley, and was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia Foundation Shands Hospital of Gainesville, Fla., in memory of Claude Ray Skipper.
