Mary Lee Hunt Mhire

Mary Mhire, 63, of Baker, LA passed away on March 18, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Mhire retired after 30 years of service as a Tax Specialist for the State of Louisiana. She was an avid LSU fan and loved gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Edna Hunt; two brothers, David "Chick" Hunt and Kenneth Dale Hunt; and her Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Clifford and JoAnna Mhire. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Keith B. Mhire; two daughters, Mandy Oliver and husband Rodney and Stacey Weber and husband Chris; three grandchildren, Amber, Payton, and Colton; one sister, Carolyn "Sissy" Vince; one brother, Donald Wayne Hunt; two sisters-in-law, Sylvia Hunt and Sonia Hunt; and numerous family members. The family wishes to offer a special thanks to her friends who helped her during her trying time, the staff of Promise Hospital of Baton Rouge, and the staff of South Louisiana Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.  A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Rabenhorst East on Florida Blvd. beginning at 2:00 pm and going until 5:30pm.
