
A resident of Austin for the past seven years, she died peacefully Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010. She was a 4th generation Baton Rouge native. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a blessing to all who knew her. Visitation at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, St. Gabriel, on Saturday, Feb. 13, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Charles Landry, celebrant. Entombment in St. Gabriel Cemetery. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Earl Dixon; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Nancy Williams; two sons, George and Robert Williams; six grandchildren, Kelly, Danielle, Michael, Jason, Kristen and Faith Williams; sister, Marion LaPlace; brother and sister-in-law, Price and Shirley LeBlanc; sisters-in-law, Jane LeBlanc and Marion LeBlanc; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, George J. Williams Sr.; parents, William Hardee and Ada LeBlanc; two brothers, William Hardee LeBlanc Jr. and Gordon S. Leblanc Sr.; brother-in-law, Colby LaPlace; and sister in-law, Alberta LeBlanc.
