Maxine D. Hebert, a native of Montgomery, Ala., and a long time resident of both Baton Rouge and Dallas. She passed away on Friday, Jan. 20, at age 97. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt who loved playing bridge, gardening and caring for her family and pets. She will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by daughter-in-law, Linda Hebert; grandchildren, Cindy Gelfan and husband Darryl, Dallas Hebert, Austin Hebert and wife Stacy and Tyler Hebert. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Samantha and Trevor Gelfan, Houston Hebert, and Killeen Hebert-Brown. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Arlene Davis; husband, Patrick A. Hebert; son, Patrick A. Hebert Jr.; granddaughter, Amanda Thomason; sisters, Katherine Davis and Aileen Goree; and brother, Thomas Davis. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Friday, January 27, from 11 a.m. until Remembrance and Song Service at 12:45 p.m. Religious service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. >
