May Thelma Comeaux

May Thelma “VoVoon” Jarreau Comeaux passed away peacefully Monday, December 18, 2017 at the age of 81 with her loving family by her side. She was a native of Lakeland, LA. and resident of Central, LA. She was the sunshine and love of her husband’s life, a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Riley Joseph Comeaux; brother, Joseph J. Jarreau; daughters, Earlene Comeaux, Vicki Hicks, Lisa and son-in-law, Mitch Granier; grandchildren, Angela and Travis Harris, Shane Walker, Benjamin Todd, Hannah and Elise Granier, Drew and Brooke Hicks; great grandchildren, Lane and Leah Harris and Liberty Grace Todd; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Perry James Comeaux; her mother, Edeila Jarreau and father, Gamothis Jarreau; sisters, Gladys St. Romain, Rita Miletello, and Verda Berthelot; and brothers, Amilcar Jarreau, Leroy Jarreau, Joseph Allen Jarreau, and Fred Jarreau. The family would like to give a special thanks to the FOGH staff for their loving care. A visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm with a memorial service beginning at 7pm. Condolences are welcome at www.greenoaksfunerals.com.
