

Mike Capone, 96, a veteran of World War II, passed away Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marie Ragusa Capone; three children and their spouses, Michael and Deane Capone, Warren and Rose Capone, and Brent and Janice Capone. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren. He was the youngest of 12 children. Preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Angelina Capone; and 11 brothers and sisters. He was a member of U.C.T., the American Legion and a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Friday, Jan. 28, was from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home Saturday, Jan. 29, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Paul Capone, Joey Capone, Tommy Parsons, Blaze Ragusa, Andrew Capone and Ray Delaune. Honorary pallbearers are John Capone and Ross Capone.
