Michael J. Ciaccio, a native of Independence and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Wednesday, November, 20, 2013 at the age of 59. He worked for State Farm Insurance, and was an avid LSU sports fan. Michael was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather who will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Cindy Ciaccio; two sons, Travis Ciaccio and Trent Ciaccio; three sisters, Anna McVea, Marie Seward and husband Bo, and Renee Regira and husband Mark; grandson, Trevor Ciaccio; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Sena Ciaccio. Visitation will be held at St. Aloysius Catholic Church on Monday, November 25, 2013 from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 12pm. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to St. Aloysius Catholic Church or to Catholic High School in Michael's memory.
