
Loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend, Myrtle died at 7:25 am on Tuesday, May 15th in her home in Brusly, La at the age of 86. She was a native of Addis, La and lived most of her life in Baton Rouge before moving to Brusly in 1990. She is survived by five daughters: Belle (Kleinpeter) Gascon and husband Tommy of Brusly, Kathy Ringe and husband John of Denham Springs, Deanna Landry and husband Gary of Brusly, Tammy (Fossier) Seals and husband Norman of Rockwall, Texas, Christi Palermo and husband Guy of Plaquemine; three sons; Shurman G. Borskey and wife Phyllis of Denham Springs, James Borskey and wife Elaine of Bossier City, and Rick Borskey and wife Robyn of Baton Rouge. Twenty-two grandchildren: Matt Small, Sara Wessling, and Zach Small; Karen Vercher and Kim Holt; Shawn Kazmir and Ryan Kleinpeter; Michael John, Troy and Corey Ringe; Michael David Charleville and Jessica Brickert; Jeremy and Amanda Landry; Jacob, Hannah, and Olivia Borskey; Freddie IV, Bryant and Christian Fossier; Emily and Maddie Palermo. Twenty-two great-grandchildren; Kinison and Carlin Wessling; Ben Small; Megan Holt; Eric James and Abbey Belle Kazmir; Karsyn and Kohen Kleinpeter; Mikelyn and Grace Ringe; Micah, Noah, Jonah, and Elijah Ringe; Aliye Belle and Brayden Ringe; Victoria and Lauren Brickert; Cora and Holt Charleville; AraBella Pourciau and George Landry. She is also survived by two brothers, Jack Munson of Houston, Texas and Lindy Munson of Baton Rouge. She is preceded in death by her husband Shurman Lesley Borskey; her daughter Patricia Ann Borskey Small; parents Ryan Joseph Munson and Isabelle Boudreaux Munson; infant granddaughter, Angelica Borskey; and two brothers, Richard and Jim Munson. Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers will be Rick Borskey, Michael John Ringe, Matt Small, Troy Ringe, Michael David Charleville, Ryan Kleinpeter, Corey Ringe, Zach Small, Jeremy Landry, Freddie Fossier IV, Bryant Fossier, Christian Fossier, and Jacob Borskey. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church choir and The Zippers. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 16th from 5pm to 9pm at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street, Baton Rouge La. Visitation will continue on Thursday, May 17th at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, South Kirkland Street, Brusly, La. from 11am until Mass of Christian Burial at 1pm. Internment to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memories. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital, St. Joseph Hospice, and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brusly, La.
