Nancy Lea Hester

She resided in Baton Rouge, Louisiana living at St. James Place since 2001 where she lived a happy and full life. She was an active member of St. James Episcopal Church.

She retired from Exxon Mobil Oil Refinery in 1986 after forty years of service.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Lula Lea Lockett Hester and Harvey Howard Hester; as well as by two brothers, Harvey Howard Hester, Jr. and Keete Lockett Hester. Survivors include her sister, Martha Ann Hester Hains and her husband Donald J. Hains. Nancy was loved and will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral was held on September 4, 2021, at the downtown Rabenhorst Funeral Home Chapel (visitation from 12 noon until 1:00 PM and services followed). The services were officiated by Father Jerry Phillips, Chaplain at St. James Place. Burial will be in Springville Cemetery in Coushatta at a later date. A family graveside service will be held.
