

Nancy Morgan (Mrs. Falcon A. Morgan), 87, died Sunday afternoon, September 5, 2021. She was a native and resident of Baton Rouge, and a parishioner of St. George Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart School, St. Joseph's Academy, and St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana. She retired from the Louisiana Department of Corrections. She is survived by her four children, Helene M. Benson (Rich) of Vicksburg, MS; Kevin P. Morgan (Jonathan Timken) of Baton Rouge; Molly M. Gautreaux (David) of Suwanee, GA; and Erin M. Vignes (Mark) of Baton Rouge; eight grandchildren (Christin Benson of Pontchatoula, LA; Stacy Benson of Las Vegas, NV; Matthew, Amanda, and Andrew Gautreaux of Suwanee, GA; and Allen, Bryan, and Kathryn Vignes of Baton Rouge); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Falcon A. Morgan; her parents, Noah P. and Inez Harrell Braud, her brother Noah P. Braud, Jr., and her sisters Barbara B. "Bobbie" Morgan and Cynthia B. LiRocchi. Funeral services will be private at a later date. Special thanks to her sitters Annette, Bridget, Latrice, Mae, Rachael, and Sabrina; the nurses and staff of the Butterfly Wing, and her physician Gerald Barber. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic High School of Baton Rouge, or the Morgan and Braud Memorial Trust at Vicksburg Catholic School, Vicksburg, MS.
