Nettie Louise Lea Triche, a native of Ethel, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at her home in Baton Rouge. She was 99. She was a former vice president and member of the board of directors of Union Federal Savings and Loan Association. She was a member of the Woman's Council of Baton Rouge Board of Realtors, the Savings Institute Marketing Association, Pilot Club International, honorary member of Beta Sigma Phi and the Domestic Arts Club. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Friday, Jan. 21, was from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation resumes Saturday, Jan. 22, from 1 p.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Rabenhorst Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Jung officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Survivors include a son, Stanley J Triche Jr.; grandchildren, Shannon Lea Triche, Stephen J Triche, Lemmie L Dickerson Jr. and Kristen Lea Dickerson de la Houssaye; great-grandchildren, Brennan Triche, Jeanne Lea de la Houssaye, Harper de la Houssaye, Beau Triche and Brandt Triche; and a special niece, Nancy Lea Thompson Libby. Pallbearers will be Stephen Triche, Lemmie Dickerson Sr., Lemmie Dickerson Jr., J.P. de la Houssaye, Harper de la Houssaye and Ken Turpin. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley J. Triche Sr.; daughter, Nettie Lea Dickerson; parents, Harry and Florette Garcia Lea; three brothers and two sisters. Special thanks to her caregiver, Gertrude Williams, and Hospice of Baton Rouge.
