Michael was an Electrician at P & M Electric Corporation. He passed away March 19, at the age of 39. Michael is survived by his parents Patricia and Mike Avery, daughter Kayla Lynn Avery, son Devin Michael Avery, two sisters Donise Shipley and husband Gary, and Amy Terrell and husband Rodney, nieces and nephews Cole and Avery Terrell, Tyler and Noelle Shipley, and best friend Donnielle Dawson Penix, He was preceded in death by his grandparents Noel E. Avery, Nina J. Avery, Tracy Stephens, Nora Walker, Gerald Walker, and best friend Lance Morrow. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd, on Friday March 21, 2014 from 5pm till 9pm. Visiting continues on Saturday March 22, 2014 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church 445 Marquette Avenue from 12pm until Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30pm. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Don Paul Day, Ty Stephens, Shawn and Shane Parker, Taw Avery and Jeffrey Terrell.
