Norma Booth Jenkins, 93, resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016. She was a shining example of love, strength and unrelenting faith in Jesus Christ. She had a devotion to friends and family and enjoyed life to the fullest. She is preceded in death by her husband, Worthie; daughter Susan Jenkins Polito; her parents; and seven siblings. She is survived by sister, Vera Fae Hartman; two granddaughters, Stephanie Polito Cowell (husband Gary) and Kimberly Polito Pierson; grandson, Charles Jason Polito; ten great grandchildren, Brooke Sloan Mitchell, Heather Cowell, Brandon Cowell, Christin Pierson, Lakin Pierson, Colin Pierson, Ashlynn Carlock, Jax Polito, Jameson Polito and Jenner Polito, and three great-great grandchildren; Jolie Mitchell, Bella Mitchell and Tripp Everhart. She was a member of Florida Boulevard Baptist Church. Visiting hours will be observed on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 9am until the Funeral Service at 12pm located at Greenoaks Funeral Home. Interment to follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.
