Olivia Miller Corty

Olivia Jo Corty, a native of Mississippi and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 96. She enjoyed painting and loved to sing. She was a devoted and loving mother and wife. She was able to travel extensively, living in Morocco for two and a half years and in Malaysia for a year and a half. She loved to play golf and was a past member of Webb Country Club. She is survived by her sons, Jon Corty and Marvin Corty and wife Katy; and three grandchildren: Bob, Virginia, and Landon. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin K. Miller and Olivia Bennett Miller; and her husband, Floyd L. Corty. Graveside services will be at Resthaven Gardens of Memory on Monday, August 15, 2022, at 10:00am. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
