

A resident of Baton Rouge and native of Sunshine Louisiana, Ory passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at the age of 85 at St. James Rehabilitation Center in Baton Rouge. He was an Army Veteran that served in the Korean War. He retired from the Louisiana Department of Welfare after 30 years of service. He enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchild (which were the love of his life) and visiting friends at Coffee Call. He was a parishioner of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 49 years, Theresa Modicut Gueho and his parents, Aurey J. Gueho and Rosalie Panepinto Gueho. He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Catherine Wohlert Gueho and only son Brent Joseph Gueho and wife Kristi Johnson Gueho. He also leaves behind his step-children Andrea Arnof and Jimmy Wohlert and wife Donna Wohlert; brother's Carroll Gueho and wife Stella, C.J. Gueho; his sister Rosemary McCullough; his grandchildren, B.J. Gueho, Kaitlyn A. Gueho, Rylie M. Gueho, and Cody P. Martinez, along with a great-grandchild Baylee R. Gueho; Step-grandchildren Amy Jones and Jamie Bourque; Step-great grandchildren Amelia, Ava and Nicholas Jones and Micah and Tanner Bourque; and many nieces and nephews. Pall bearers are Vincent ""Bubba"" Nola, Glynn Nola, Keith Gueho, Ross Gueho, Lance Gueho, and Jimmy Wohlert. Honorary pall bearers are Jimmy McCullough, Mike Nola, Marion Modicut, and many Coffee Call friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home at 825 Government Street from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation to resume Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church at 9150 Highland Road from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM, with mass and Christian burial conducted by Father Trey Nelson to follow. The Burial will be held at Greenoaks Cemetery, 9595 Florida Boulevard. Special thanks to the staff at St. James Rehabilitation Center and the many friends and family that came to visit.
