

Jesus said "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life." John 5:24. A dearly beloved Christian wife, mother and grandmother, she left this world and went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013. She was a native of Walker and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. Ouida was 81 and was born in Walker on August 6, 1931. She now joins in eternal life, her parents, Warren and Oma Sibley Williams; her sisters, Shirley Williams and Della Mae Williams Graham; and a stepdaughter, Ginger Gallion Pilet. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Zachary Gallion; three daughters and sons-in-law, Karla and Melvin Locke, Kim and Pat Anderson and Valerie and Jamie Hamilton; ten grandchildren, Abby Anderson, Patrick Anderson, Jr., Luke Anderson, Hunter Locke, Connor Locke, Jay Hamilton, Kara Hamilton Miller, Caden Hamilton, Hailey Pilet and Zachary Pilet. She graduated in 1950 from Baton Rouge General Hospital School of Nursing with an RN degree. She grew up and was a member of Mangum Chapel Methodist on Cane Market Road in Walker and was an active member of the Chapel in the Oaks. She was a gracious, sweet woman who dearly loved her family and lived for the Cross. She will live forever in our hearts. Visitation is at Chapel in the Oaks, 9611 Siegen Lane, on Saturday, June 29, from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. conducted by the Rev. Donald Tabb.
