

Pamela Dixon Ortlieb, wife, mother, and interior designer, passed away February 3, 2015 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was born in Clinton, on July 29th, 1951 to parents, Charles T. and Elaine Dixon. She grew up in Central on a wooden lane where she played “house”. There were dense woods beside her house and a mound of Earth covered with wonderful green moss that she claimed as her very own loden velvet sofa. It became a focus of an imaginary living room. She never stopped playing house and never lost her passion for simple elegance in the home. Her God given talents were in the arts. Pam’s passion for decorating and her artistic talents led her to her businesses, Aryanne’s Lace and Adelyn’s Antiques. She graduated from Central High School and attended LSU. Pam was very passionate and involved with Christian Life Fellowship Church where she cherished the opportunity to participate in a Mission trip to Russia in 2002. Pam is survived by her loving husband of 32yrs, Rene Ortlieb . They shared the most precious times together and went through everything in life that was thrown at them, but there could have been no one else but Pam for Rene. No one could replace the love that they shared with one another. Pam is survived by; husband Rene, daughters Aryanne and Adelyn, granddaughters, Avalee and April Kay; parents, Charles T. and Eva Elaine Van Norman; brothers, Kevin and Kyle Dixon. Preceeded in death by her brother Keith Dixon. Pallbearers will be: Gary Bonanno, Bart Leader, Eddie Bertoniere, Daryl Hunt, Kevin Dixon, Kyle Dixon and Charles T. Dixon. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, Louisiana Friday, February 6, 2015 5:00pm-9:00pm. Visitation will resume, Saturday, February 7, 2015, 10:00am until service time at noon. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
