Patricia Ann Conravey Malone, a resident of Baton Rouge, and native of New Orleans peacefully passed away at the age of 74. A 1966 graduate of Warren Easton High School in New Orleans, where she was valedictorian and crowned Miss Warren Easton. Patricia continued her education at the University of New Orleans where she was a member of Sigma Kappa sorority and earned her bachelors in psychology. After completing her degree, Pat dedicated her career to the city of New Orleans, starting at the New Orleans Police Department as director of Fiscal office in 1974, and transferring to the New Orleans Aviation Board in 1983 where she served as Deputy Director until her retirement in 2010. A loving mother and grandmother, she loved to travel, going out to eat, volunteering, and spending time with her family. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son Sean Malone and wife Lana, 3 grandchildren; Keegan, Finley, and Miles, and numerous friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Paul Edward and Catherine Hand Conravey. Services will be held Friday, July 29th at St. George Catholic Church, with a visitation at 9:30 a.m. until the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Brain Foundation, or the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank in Pat’s name.
