Patricia Olinde

Patricia Miley Olinde, 81, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Sherwood Manor Nursing Home. She was a longtime resident of Denham Springs. She was retired from Louisiana Dept. of Corrections. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 5pm until 9pm and continuing on Friday, October 28, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs from 10am until Mass at 11am. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by one daughter, Bridgette Cashio and husband Joseph David; three sons and daughters-in-law Michael and Rebecca Miley, Joseph and Ann Miley, and Darryll and Sherry Miley; seven stepchildren; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John C. Olinde, Sr.; two sons, Lanson and Jerry Miley; stepson Gary Olinde and granddaughter Brandi Miley. Pallbearers will be Joseph Miley, Jr., Jonathan and Brandon Miley, David Miley, Mark Allemente and Mike Kelly. Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Cashio, Luke Ard, and Preston Nealy. Patricia fought a long battle with multiple myeloma cancer. The family would like to give a very special thank you to Dr. Jay Brooks and staff, Sherwood manor Nursing Home and staff, and In His Care Hospice. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.
