

Mr. Pat was a man that never met a stranger. His family and friends will miss his dynamic personality and wit. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014, at the age of 86. He was the founder of Phillips Electric Co. in 1961 and a member of the US Army. He was an outdoorsman who loved to spend his time at the camp, fishing, hunting and gardening. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Sunday, March 9, 2014, from 5 PM until 9 PM with the rosary being recited at 7:30 PM by the Knights of Columbus. Visitation will resume at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Monday, March 10, 2014, from 10 AM until funeral mass at 11 AM conducted by Father Michael Moroney. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Gloria “Jinkie” Hale Phillips, three sons, Rick Phillips and wife, Patty LeBlanc Phillips, Dennis Phillips and wife, Janet Terito Phillips, and Michael Phillips and wife, Glenda Adams Phillips; eight grandchildren, Kimberly Cusimano and husband, Travis, Courtney Phillips and fiancé, Gray Marston, Dustin Phillips and wife, Brittany, Nicole McGraw and husband, Brannon, Kristen Phillips and fiancé, Ben Richard, Amy Phillips, Brandon Phillips, Camryn Phillips, and; four great grandchildren, Ava Kate Phillips, Dennin Phillips, Branson McGraw, and Madyson Phillips; one sister, Francis Pillman; and one sister in law, Odile Lane. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Sue Arbour Phillips; brothers, Bobby, Larry, Gerry and Danny; sisters, Carol Kehrman, Beverly Whalen, and Kathryn Cambre. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Alphonsus Food Bank and St. Vincent de Paul. The family would like to give a special thanks to his care givers, Mary Finley and Cathy Kimball.
