Patti Lynn Reed

Patti Lynn Reed, resident of Baton Rouge, passed away after a courageous battle with severe heart problems on Monday, January 6, 2014 at the age of 57. She attended LSU. Patti enjoyed arts and crafts projects, making jewelry, baking with her niece, Brenna, and playing with her dogs, Petey and Marley. She was devoted to her family and will be missed dearly by her husband, James Kurt Reed; sons, Christopher Reed and wife Megan, Doug Reed and Bryan Reed; mother, Edna Murray Prince; step father, James Prince; brother, Mark Fisher; aunts and uncles, Eric and Donna Murray, and Betty and Billy O'Bannon; nieces, Brenna Fisher, and Lauren Fontenot and husband Drew and their sons, Weller and Andrew; nephew, Jacob Langley and wife Caroline Langley and their daughter, Lorelie; sister-in-law, Beth Langley and husband Jerome Langley; and mother and father-in-law, Della and Lester Reed. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bobbie and Robert Murray, and father, Melvin Fisher. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Greenoaks Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the funeral home at 9:00 am until the funeral service begins at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
