

He was affectionately known to many as either "Red," "Bird,” and many others. Paul was born on April 23, 1966. Paul was the youngest child of Jacqueline Rey Dunnaway and Clarence Dunnaway of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Growing up in New Orleans, he attended Marion Abramson High School. Paul never married, but spent many years with his devoted companion Mary Donette Stoetzner. Paul was the youngest of 5 children, Gregory (deceased), Steven, Tamara (Tammy), and David.
Paul worked as a laborer for many years at several job locations throughout New Orleans and the Baton Rouge area.
Paul loved hanging out with his family and friends. He had a great zeal for life and you never saw him unhappy. He always was willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need.
Paul is survived by: two brothers, Steven (Tyise Blouin Dunnaway) of Darrow, David (Calantha Ceasar Dunnaway) of Denham Springs; one sister, Tammy (Eulis Simien) of Baton Rouge; two aunts, Linda Rey Cambric and Evangline Dunnaway. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his parents Jacqueline and Clarence Dunnaway; grandparents; one brothers, Gregory Dunnaway; and a niece, Analisa Dunnaway.
