

Pauline Stringer Guice, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 94 years young. She was a resident of Denham Springs via Central and a native of Sicily Island, Louisiana.
She was a member of Zoar Baptist Church and loved to go have coffee with her friends after church. She loved hosting holidays at her home and making sure everyone left happy and full. Anytime her grandbabies visited she made sure they had her "famous" pancakes, she was the best pancake maker!
When her husband was alive they loved to travel and go camping in their RV. Even if they weren't camping they made sure they drove through every RV park along the way to scope them out for their next adventure.
She was an avid reader and loved doing puzzles. Even in her 90's, she loved keeping up with her family and friends on social media and texting all of them daily.
She is survived by her sister Sadie Strahan, her four granddaughters, Jodie Lynn Guice, her children William Keith and Kierston Lane McPherson, Rachel Guice, her son Bodhi Mangin, Allisyn Guice Conerly (JR) their children Amelia and Max Conerly, Lily Guice (Kraig Kepper) their children Kruze, Sutton and Koen Kepper. Her daughter in law Terri Buckner Guice, her children Dylan Bucker (Abigail), their children Kollie and Kora Buckner, Tiffani Smith (Tyler) and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Herd Guice, her sons Stan and Greg Guice, her parents Estus and Myrtle Stringer, her brothers Doris Stringer and Lonnie Owen Stringer and her sisters Claudine McTaggart, Edna Earl Stringer Guilbeau, Nevis Laird and Mary Ruth Thames.
Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd Baton Rouge on Saturday, June 14 from 12pm til 2pm with the service to begin at 2pm followed by a graveside prayer.
