A retired network administration manager for Georgia Gulf with 21 years of service, she died at 4 a.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010, at her home. She was 71 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, March 11, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes on Friday from 9 a.m. until religious service in the chapel at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Ben Bahr. A loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother, Peggy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Stanley J. Brohn Sr.; two sons, Stanley J. Brohn Jr. and wife Beatriz, and Jay S. Brohn Sr.; brother, Carl R. Deen Jr.; four grandchildren, Stanley III, Ronnie, Jay Jr. and Ryan. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Deen; father, Carl Deen Sr.; son, Carl Deen Brohn; and sister, Gloria Hooks. She enjoyed fishing, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
