

Phoebe, better known as "Belle", graduated as Valedictorian from Kinder High School. Belle and her husband owned several grocery stores, and the City of Baker newspaper route. She was also a Real Estate Agent for over 40 years, working with CJ Brown, Century 21 Sasser & Associates, and Keller Williams Red Stick.
Belle enjoyed competitive ballroom dancing, Sunday brunch with her family and friends, shopping, traveling, real estate, and cooking. She is survived by her sons, Tim Romano (Robin Efferson), and Gerald Romano (Lena Pearce); grandchildren, Michelle Landry (Jonathan) and Rachel Rushing; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Evan, and Easton Landry, Carlos and Luther Hendrickson, and Samantha Banes; favorite niece, Charlene Favre; nephew, Charles Muffoletto; great-niece, Shelley Zeringue (Harris); and great-nephew, Scott Favre; and numerous great-great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Rosario J Romano, Sr.; son, Rosario "Russ" J. Romano, Jr.; grandson, Thomas Edelen; parents; brother, Stewart Bell; sister, Catherine "Kay" Muffoletto; and her nephew, Warren James Muffoletto, MD.
A visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 5 pm until 7 pm, and will resume on Thursday from 1 pm until funeral service at 2 pm. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
