Ramsey Katherine Marler

Ramsey Katherine Marler was born to Robert and Kristin Marler on February 13, 2015. She passed away after 16 precious days at Women’s Hospital in Baton Rouge. Ramsey is survived by her parents; twin brother, Cooper Rhodes Marler; paternal grandparents, Bobby and Pam Marler; maternal grandparents, Pat and Katherine Casey; maternal great grandparents, Alida Casey, and Billy and Myrna Cooper; and uncles and aunt, David Marler, Laura and Trey Templeton, and John Casey. She was preceded in death by her paternal great grandparents, Joseph and Laura Bess Rhodes, and Leo and Blanche Marler; paternal great aunt, Florence "Teensy" Marler; and maternal great grandfather, John P. Casey. In the precious 16 days that God allowed us with Ramsey, she brought a lifetime of love and joy to her parents and all who knew her. Ramsey's feisty personality made a lasting impression on us all and her parents are so proud of their brave baby girl for all of the battles that she overcame while with us. Robert and Kristin feel incredibly blessed to have been chosen to be Ramsey's parents. Even though her time here was short, God has used and will continue to use Ramsey's life to bring glory to His name. We find comfort in knowing that Ramsey is now healed and forever with our Savior. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Chapel in the Oaks Church , 9611 Siegen Ln. Baton Rouge, from 11:00 am until the funeral service begins at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ramsey's uncles, David Marler and John Casey.
