He was born August 29, 1949 to Col. Richard Creighton and Myra Sayes Creighton in Riverside, California.
He attended the University of Houston, graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry.
Randy is survived by wife, Pam, daughters Kelly Creighton and Kristina Miremont, sister Sondra Creighton, granddaughters Lucy Fasullo, Creighton Miremont and grandson Abel Miremont.
Randy worked as an Environmental Consultant before taking a position with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality until he retired in 2024.
He had many talents and interests which included creating stained glass lamps, growing orchids, lapidary and rock hounding, collecting knives and cooking.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Myra Creighton and father-in-law, Jim Breedlove.
Randy was cremated and his ashes will be spread in Montana where he enjoyed spending time in the beautiful outdoors, rockhounding and watching the wildlife.
