"Called home to our Heavenly Father on August 13, 2016, Ray Anthony Pecoraro joined his parents Anthony L. Pecoraro and Virginia Michelli Pecoraro. Ray was also preceded in death by his older brother Donald Wayne Pecoraro along with grandparents Kelly and Dora Michelli and Anthony and Josephine Pecoraro. Ray was born in Baton Rouge, LA on January 3, 1956 and was a graduate of Lee High School. He attended LSU in Baton Rouge majoring in the Criminal Justice Field eventually retiring from Hunts Correctional Facility where he was a Correctional Officer for many years. Ray leaves behind sisters Peggy Abadie and Connie Rozarto; sister in law Carolyn Pecoraro; nieces and nephews Chad and Tiffany Pecoraro Blake, Ashlyn and Brett Abadie, and Kellie Rozarto; Godson Rusty; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. No services are planned at this time. Donations in Ray's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
