A retired mess management specialist first class with the U.S. Navy with 30 years of experience and a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars, he died at 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8, 2006, at his home. He was 76, a resident of Baton Rougeand a native of Fordoche. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ernestine Larose Sanchez; brother, Roy Anthony Sanchez; and nephews, Roy Anthony Sanchez II, Kirk Douglas Louque and Brian Neff.
