Richard Joesph Besson, a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the age of 69. Richard was born on July 17, 1946 and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior on February 3rd. Richard was a graduate of Istrouma High School in 1965. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, riding motorcycles, was a member of the Speck Crusaders, liked LSU and Saints football & boxing. He is survived by his two sons Richard L. Besson and wife, Shanda Kay Besson, and Benny James Besson; two grandchildren; brother, William J. Besson of Garland TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is the son of his late parents, Jared J. Besson & Gladys Starns Besson and preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Gray. Graveside Service will be held at Greenoaks Memorial Park on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
