A retired truck dispatcher, he died at 12:39 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2007, at his home in Greenwell Springs. He was 54, a native of Mansura and longtime resident of Bunkie. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, June 19, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Visiting at Escude Funeral Home, Mansura, on Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Mansura, at 4 p.m. Wednesday. He is survived by his wife, Susie Ann Guillory Ducote; mother, Lola Verzwyvelt Ducote; two daughters, Maggie Elizabeth Ducote Peairs-Bell and Jessica Anne Ducote; son, Christopher Michael Ducote; sister, Jeanette Ducote Willis; brother, Harold Ducote; and two grandsons, Gabriel and Connor. He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony L. Ducote.
