She was preceded in death by her parents, John Burgin Jr. and Vanda Burgin; husband, Mark Cavell; sister, Joan Patricia Hebert and brother in law Leroy Hebert; daughter Bridget Cavell Jones and son in law Bobby Jones.
Rita is survived by her sons Kevin, Christopher, Michael and their families; along with several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 23rd from 9AM to 11AM at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church; with Mass beginning at 11AM. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
