Robert W. Moore Jr., a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, at the age of 47. He was a loving father, son and brother who loved to read and had a passion to learn things. Robert was talented with most musical instruments and especially loved playing the guitar. He had many interests and among them were music and "Space Pirate" along with other video games. He is survived by his daughter, Caitlyn "Katie" Moore; mother, Marlyn Moore; two sisters, Marlyn "Marni" Miller and husband Dana, and Lauri Liljeberg and husband Mattias; cousin, Kel Whisner; two nephews, Logan Miller and Ethan Miller; and two nieces, Helena Liljeberg and Carina Liljeberg. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; his father, Robert W. Moore Sr.; and his aunt, Jaclyn Whisner. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home in Baton Rouge from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. with service to follow.
