A homemaker, artist and author, she died Monday morning, June 29,2009. She was 88, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Omaha, Neb. Graveside service at Roselawn Cemetery at 10 a.m. Monday, July 6. Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy P. and William Jensen; two grandchildren, Katherine "Kate" Jensen and Margaret Jensen; and a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Shoates. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
