

Ronnie Paul Terito, 59, danced into heaven at 4:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He will always be remembered for his outgoing personality, his love of TV, dancing, but most of all, that he never met a stranger. He served his country in the Air Force, and was a former employee of Blue Cross Blue Shield of LA. He also loved football and was a football official for over 20 years for LHSFA. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jane Carter Terito; a son, Jason Michael Terito, Wasilla, AK; two daughters Jennifer Ann Terito-Himel and husband Everette, of Walker and Kathryn Marie Terito, of Baton Rouge, a step granddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth Himel, mother Virginia Noto Terito, a brother Albert Thomas Terito, a sister Janet Terito Phillips and husband Dennis, a sister-in- law Jan D. Terito, his wonderful caregiver, Vivian Williams and his Air Force buddy, Jerry Shaffer of Boise, ID, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. He was preceded in death by an infant son Latham Paul Terito, his father Albert Angelo Terito, brother Larry Joseph Terito, brother-in-law Clyde Carter and 1st wife Christy Ann Boyer. Visitation will be on Friday, March 15 at Rabenhorst East, 11000 Florida Blvd. from 5-9 pm. Visitation will resume on Saturday, March 16 at Blackwater United Methodist Church at 10:00 am followed by religious services at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev Marie Williams. Burial will follow in the Masonic Cemetery in Clinton, La. Pallbearers will be Dennis Phillips, Steve Winters, Michael Noto, Ricky Noto, Larry Mancuso, Sammy Terito, Johnny Culmone, and Leary George. Honorary Pallbearers are Donald Crochet and Jerry Shafer. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge or Blackwater United Methodist Church.
