A resident of Baton Rouge, Rose passed away Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 82 and a native of Norphlett, Ark. She was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church where she served as an elder. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 11000 Florida Blvd., Wednesday, Nov. 24, was from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visiting will continue at the funeral home chapel Friday from 10 a.m. until religious service at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Richard Gates. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Rose is survived by her son, David S. Chauser, and Dorothy Chauser; grandchildren, Michael Chauser and wife Brandi, Erika Chauser, Erin Chauser and Melissa Chauser; and two great-grandsons, Slade and Laszlo Chauser. Preceded in death by her husband, Louis Chauser; son, Louis D. Chauser Jr. and wife Patricia Wilson Chauser; and mother, Ruby Dickens.
