
Rosemary Inez Estes, a loving aunt whose quick wit and sense of humor was present amidst the greatest of personal adversity, died on Thursday, July 2. She was 69. Rosemary spent a lifetime making friends and helping anyone who struggled, especially those with intellectual disabilities. She will be dearly missed by her nephews and their spouses, Ryan Estes Johnson and Amy Verrett Johnson, Tanner Alston Johnson and Brooke Fontenot Johnson, Mason Cire Johnson and Managan McKay Johnson, and her niece and her spouse, Rosemary Susanne Johnson Inman and Mark Inman, and each of their growing families. Rosemary was preceded in death by her identical twin sister, Margaret Estes Johnson, and by her parents, Otto Pendleton Estes and Inez Cire Estes. Of her many friends, the family would like to recognize and thank Emily McLean, Margaret Sanders, Carrie Streb, and all of Rosemary's friends at Southside Gardens, for their love and support of Rosemary, as well as, the special care given to Rosemary over the last ten years by H. Alston Johnson, III. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street, Baton Rouge, La. on Monday, July 6, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. until services at 10 a.m. A private burial service will follow in Picayune, Mississippi.
