It’s hard to believe I’ll never sit at her table and eat her rice and gravy or get to ask her how to say things in French. She won’t be here to teach my baby French phrases and stories or teach her how to make Christmas candy. I’m just so happy that the last day we shared together was such a good day. We brought Ada’Mae to get some dresses and ate at walk ons. She was a selfless giver. She loved to spend money on her grandkids! I will cherish those memories in her kitchen and clothes shopping. I will cherish the last time I sat at her bedside in the hospital and she held my hand and said she was ready to go. Je t’aime beaucoup mawmaw.

I always loved seeing aunt TuTu when we would visit as a child. She always told me secrets about my Moma when they were growing up. Lol. I visited her and Uncle Jerry frequently when I lived in Denham Springs. She always greeted me with open arms and a hug so tight it would take your breath away. It makes my heart happy to know she will be with her 2 babies that left before her and the rest of her siblings. My heart goes out to Uncle Jerry, Sheryl those grand babies and all those who were close to her. She will continue, always to be thought of often.
