Rosemary Scott Guidry, a native of Sunshine, La. And a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Thursday June 15, 2017 at the age of 76. She was a musician, cook and above all a homemaker. Rosemary was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughters; Carla (Richard) Dupuy and Terran (John) Shelton; her sons, Craig Guidry and Blaine Guidry; her sisters, Norma Buxton, Gracie Haggard; her brothers, Ken Scott and Gene Scott; 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years Claude Guidry, her parents, Clarence and Mathilde Scott; her son Jay Guidry. Pallbearers will be Travis Guidry, Adam Shelton, Bradley Shelton, Dallas Guidry, John Shelton, Gage Shelton, Richard Dupuy, Sr. and Richard Dupuy, Jr. A visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 12pm until funeral service begins at 2pm. Entombment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
