Ruby C. Browning

She was born May 24, 1932 in Assumption Parish. She was a resident of Central, Louisiana. Ruby was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. As a business woman she was co-owner of the “Worlds Our Little Miss Pageants” and Sales Director of Vivian Woodard Cosmetics. She enjoyed fishing and traveling with Cruising Cajuns.

She is proceeded in death by her son, Randy Gerald Browning; parents, John and Clara Cavalier; brothers, Russell, Ervin and Roland Cavalier; sisters, Ruth Kelly and Leona Dubois.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years Archie Browning; sons Kenneth W. Browning and wife Beverly, Brent E. Browning and wife Michele; daughter, Darla B. Thompson; brother, Warren Cavalier; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Michael Browning, Jacob Thompson, Jonathan Bachaleda, Gabriel Dale, Billy and Larry Kelly, Mark and Russell Cavalier. Honorary Pallbearers will be Warren Cavalier, Sr. and Alfred White.

Visitation will be held on Saturday December 26, 2015 at St. Alphonsus in Central, LA. beginning at 9:30am until Mass of Christian Burial begins at 11am. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
