

Ruenell H. Ivey Estep passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the age of 89. She was a native of Bogalusa, LA, and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Ruenell was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother and friend. She had a huge heart and would help anyone in need. She was a very successful business owner of Ruenell’s Window Coverings for 10+ years. When she was younger, Ruenell enjoyed sewing, fishing, boating, dancing, and family adventures. As she matured, her interests also included shopping, bird watching in her backyard, and going on outings with her girlfriends. Ruenell cherished the time she spent with her family, especially making memories with her grandchildren. Ruenell is survived by her husband, Everett Estep; children, Daniel Ivey (Victoria), David Ivey, Kathy Ivey, and Edmond LeBlanc; grandchildren, Raymond LeBlanc (Melissa), Barry Ivey (Julie), Brandon Ivey (Andria), Blake Ivey (Nina), Anna Ivey Hankins (Britten), Lacey Ivey, Jeremy Gautreau, Amy Champagne, Kera Parker (Blake), Michael Graham, Lisa Pizzalato, and Heaven Blanchard; great-grandchildren, Natalie LeBlanc (Micah Roby), Caleb LeBlanc, Rachel Zatta, Andrew Ivey, Gabriela Barksdale (Jonathan), Christian Ivey, Isabella Ivey, Joseph Ivey, Josiah Ivey, Tristan Cole, Logan Redding, Aidan Lamplough, Brooklynn Ivey, Jasmine Martinko, Ava Ivey, Victoria Ivey, Abigail Gautreau, Isabella Gautreau, Olivia Gautreau, Davin Ivey, and Allison Ivey; great-great-grandchildren, Judah Roby, Jonathan Blake Barksdale, Levi James Barksdale, and Kamden Parker; step-siblings, Mini Parker and Sluggo Wheat; brother-in-law, Willie E. Vick, III “Bill”; lifelong friends, Diane Duplessis, Dee Broussard, and Diane Bridges; and a host of other loving family members. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Ivey; daughter, Pam LeBlanc; grandson Brent LeBlanc; parents, George Helton and Agnes Snowden; siblings, George “Randy” Helton, Dottie Sheets, and Gwen Vick; and dear friend Kerry Duplessis. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 11am until the time of funeral services at 2pm.
